Day 10: Thankful for Community and Building New Connections

Today, I am simply thankful for the connections that I have been able to make with so many amazing people in my hometown over the last year as a member of the Yelp Birmingham community. Tonight, I had an amazing opportunity to congregate with the my fellow Birmingham Yelpers at the delectable and delicious new business, Bottle & Bone! We spent our final Yelp Elite event with our dynamic and humble Birmingham Community Manager, Will Lochamy. It was definitely bittersweet but I know we all wish him well as he moves forward in his inspiring professional journey!

Our community may be small but it is steadily growing with a group of people who are full of so many talented and optimistic folks committed to exploring and supporting the best that our city has to offer. I am simply thankful to be a part of the small community that promotes a fraction of the potential that the Magic City holds!
